Interactive Avatar Roleplay Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 September 2026
Who We Are
Interactive Avatar Roleplay (IARP) is provided on Google Play by Guy Designs. IARP is an access-controlled training application for authorised students, teachers, and administrators.
Information We Process
- Account information such as username, display name, role, organisation, and email address.
- Course and scenario enrolments assigned by authorised teachers or administrators.
- Training activity, including selected scenarios, dialogue text, transcripts, assessment results, teacher feedback, and student replies.
- Speech and feedback audio when a user activates recording. Speech audio is processed to provide speech recognition and roleplay features; assessment or feedback recordings may be retained with the relevant attempt.
- Authentication, service-usage, network, and diagnostic information used to operate, troubleshoot, and secure the service.
How We Use Information
We use this information to authenticate users, deliver assigned training content, provide speech-based avatar interactions, record training attempts, show progress and feedback, support teacher assessment, and protect the service from misuse.
Sharing And Service Providers
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising. Information is available only to authorised users and administrators within the relevant training organisation. To provide the app's core functions, speech audio and dialogue content may be processed by Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Speech and Azure OpenAI. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process limited technical data on our behalf to operate and secure the service. We may also disclose information where required by law or an authorised organisation's lawful obligations.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Access to stored information is restricted through authenticated accounts and role-based permissions. Administrative and service access is limited to authorised personnel.
Retention And Deletion
Information is retained only while needed to provide training, maintain assessment records, secure the service, and meet applicable organisational or legal requirements. When it is no longer required, it is deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
To request access, correction, or deletion of an IARP account and its associated data, email accounts@simc.net.au. Include the account username and organisation, but do not send a password. Requests may be referred to the organisation that issued the account, and some records may need to be retained where law or organisational policy requires it.
